1. Heath Ledger passed away from combination of prescription drugs accidentally. He had a daughter, Matilda Rose, who was born on 28 October 2005 with actress Michelle Williams. She was only 2 years old when he died at the age of 28.

2. Mariah Carey(38) tied a knot with an actor/rapper, Nick Cannon(28). She started dating Nick in February and married him in April after two months of knowing him. She said they waited sex until after marriage be so much more special.

3. Lindsay Lohan finally confirmed she has a romantic relationship with Samantha Ronson after month of speculation. Lindsay and English-born DJ Samantha Ronson was inseparatable for a while now. She said in interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine that she maybe a bisexual, but wasn't a lesbian.

4. Jennifer Aniston(39) finds love again with Singer John Mayer who is 8 years Junior her age. On and Off again couple seems doing great right now, and she said on the interview about their relationship, "I deeply deeply care about him; we talk, we adore one another, and that's where it is”. Jennifer is celebrating a New Year with Courtney Cox family in Mexico, and John Mayer also flew Mexico with his brothers.

5. Madonna and Director Guy got divorced. Madonna is worth an estimated about half a billion dollars, and Guy is 35 million dollars worth. Some report says she paid him over 50 million pounds, but Guy told the press it is not accurate and the amount of the settlement will stay private. The custody of their two sons, Rocco, 8, and adopted son David, 3, remains unsettled.

6. Beyonce and Jay-Z finally got married after 6 years together. The power couple recently top 'Forbes' Power Couple List with a whopping dual income last year of $162 million. WOW! It is almost double of the amount from its second place. Will and Jada Pinkett Smith for $85 million. Congrats.

7. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are the proud parents of twins, a boy Knox Leon and a girl called Vivienne Marcheline in France. The twins brought the number of Brangelina's children to 6! Looks like Brad really got want he was wishing for, and his ex Miss Aniston is doing great at Box Office. She just beat him on their new movies that opened on the same day.

8. Bernie Mac died at age 50 by complications from Pneumonia.
The actor/comedian Bernie Mac was hospitalized with pneumonia about a week ago, and publicists for Mac was saying he was responding well to his treatments few days before his death.
He was a great actor& comedian... Rest in peace.

9. Britney had a crazy year as everybody noticed from shaving her head to hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation,then had visitation with her tots taken away. Plus her baby sister Jamie Lynn's teen pregnancy made a big headline as well. Hopefully she can find a happiness that money can't buy in 2009.

10. The small plane crashed and killed four people and critically injuring former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM. Travis Barker and DJ AM are being treated says both men are expected to make full recoveries.

Hogan Family had a some crazy year as well. Hulk Hogan's son nick spent 8 months in jail following an 2007 crash that left his best friend in critical condition, and then his wife Linda filed for divorce after 24 years together. And then she began dating a 19-year-old boy who was a classmate of her own daughter Brooke..... That must be weird.

Another scandal is the Brothers and sisters actor, Balthazar Getty who is still married with four kids, was photographed with a topless actress, Sienna Miller while on vacation in italy.....oops.
