Did you know that 60% of our body is made of water?

Water is such an important thing for humans, you can go weeks without food but only few days without water.

Your body gain water by drinking liquids, eating food or it is a result of certain cells activities.

It loses water when sweating, breathing, urinating and through excretion.

Avery person takes about 2.5 litres of water per day from drinking, food and body cells. Also, the average loses it all through various processes including sweat and breathing.

The water in your body is mainly controlled by the kidneys and adrenal glands.

When your body needs water, your brain will send you that thirst feeling.

When you are thirst, if you drink liquids with caffeine or beer for example, those liquids are diuretic and they make you pee. This situation will cause a chronic thirst and a mess in your body because your body needs water but you make it lose more and it is most likely will result in gain of weight.
