Yoga X week 2
On December 18th 2008 I decided to start the so called P90X program.
Today I did 1.5 hours of Yoga of the program, it is called Yoga X and it is not easy. I'm not that flexible but I could do almost all exercises today which is better than 50% of the first time.
This is the holiday season and it is not easy to eat well, and exercise but I'm doing it.
I hope skipped 1 day on Dec 31st and about 3 days around Xmas.
I actually want to lose weight in the long run but so far I have gained over 3 kilos and mostly muscle.
I do the exercises in the early morning, first I drink 500ml of protein shake, wait 30 minutes and go to exercise.
In the begin I tried a much of combinations and ways of drink the protein shake and vitamins and only one worked for me. This is what I tried:
1) Half protein shake prior to work out, drink as I get thirst, whatever that is left after work out. That made me thirst all the time and once I drink, I slow down.
2) Drink all protein shake with:
a) 1 x garlic pill, 1 x flax oil pill. Felt weak.
b) Once-a-day vitamins. Felt weak.
c) 1 x Jamieson B100. Felt weak.
3) Whatever I tried on 2 but no shake. Big problems digesting the pills and felt weak.
Now, when I drink the entire shake and wait 30 minutes and no food, I can feel the muscles asking for more and don't have that feeling that a lot of blood is on my head when I reach down.
The down side of this thing so far is that I have to wake up around 6:30AM do do all of that and right now sun comes up at around 7:30AM so, it is strange.
Hopefully I can keep on posting all workouts and progress here.
